Meet Dr. Sean Chang and the experienced specialists leading your care

At Blue Brush Dental, you’ll be cared for by a team led by Dr. Sean Chang — a dedicated, highly trained dentist with a passion for lifelong learning and patient-focused care. Born in Korea and raised in Newport Beach, CA, Dr. Chang was inspired to pursue dentistry by his family’s rich history in healthcare and his uncle, a respected Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Before starting his dental journey, Dr. Chang served in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2005, which instilled in him discipline, empathy, and a strong spirit of service — values he brings into his practice every day.

Dr. Chang earned dual degrees in Economics and Biology from the University of California Irvine before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. He went on to complete a residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, where he strengthened his skills in oral surgery, implant dentistry, root canal therapy, and pediatric care. Today, Dr. Chang also teaches future dentists as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the USC Dental School.
